Alliance Insurance Company (Pvt) Ltd is a wholly owned Zimbabwean leading short-term insurance company with a track record of unsurpassed customer care and innovation, traits that have seen it slowly grow into Zimbabwe's leading short-term insurance company in its first decade of operation.

Having opened its doors to the insuring public on 1st January 2003, the company after attaining a licence to transact in foreign currency, moved to become the country's pioneer forex business underwriter in the year 2004.  A report released by the Insurance Council of Zimbabwe (ICZ) in the year 2006 rated the company Zimbabwe's fastest-growing short-term insurance company which was later evidenced by the company being acknowledged the market leader in the year 2009 having acquired a market share of 14.21% and a Gross Premium Written (GPW) in excess of Ten million United States  Dollars (US$10,000,000.00) (source, Insurance and Pensions Commission 2009 Fourth Quarter Insurance Report).

The Alliance brand has managed to retain a spot in the top three (3) short-term insurance companies having ended 2010 in second (2nd) place with a market share of 11.3% on GPW. The year 2011 also ended on a high note finishing in second (2nd) position with a market share on GPW and Total Assets of 12.6% each.  True to being a market leader, Alliance reclaimed the top spot to close off 2012 in first (1st) position with a market share of 15.04% on GPW and leading on Total Asstes with a market share of 13.83%. The company continues to demonstrate top financial performances despite the poor show of the economy and closely monitors financial strength ratios for the benefit of the clients' peace of mind.
